Existential is a psychological visual novel where the player, suffering complete memory loss, is trapped in a mysterious rehabilitation facility. Each day is structured around treatment sessions meant to correct behavior, restore identity, and prepare you for release back into society. As you comply—or resist—you begin to notice disturbing inconsistencies in the patients, staff, and the passage of time itself. Every choice influences your psychological “progress,” forcing you to decide what matters most: escaping the system, saving the other patients, or uncovering the truth about who you were?
